About Pro Trax
Pro Trax (www.pro-trax.com) is the field training tracker used internally by Pro EMS Solutions, Inc. ("Pro EMS") for its Field Training and Evaluation Program. Access is limited to Pro EMS staff and trainees with an account created by a Pro EMS administrator. By using Pro Trax you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Use of Pro Trax
- Use Pro Trax only for Pro EMS training purposes, with your own account. Keep your password private.
- Training records in Pro Trax belong to Pro EMS and are handled under Pro EMS policies.
- Never enter patient names or other patient details in reports, notes or texts. Describe the call, not the person.
- AI-written summaries in Pro Trax are prompts for judgment, not evaluations of record. Decisions about a trainee are always made by people.
Pro Trax shift text messaging program
Program name: Pro Trax shift texts. Texts are sent from the Pro EMS toll-free number (866) 464-1311.
Description: Pro Trax can text Pro EMS field training officers (FTOs) during a shift to collect the training observations they write about the trainee they are working with. It is an internal program for Pro EMS employees only. It does not send marketing or promotional messages, and does not text the public, trainees or patients.
Opt-in: texts are sent only to an FTO who entered their own mobile number in Pro Trax and ticked the consent box (see how opt-in works), and who then chose to receive texts for a specific shift.
Message frequency varies. For each shift an FTO chooses to text: one start-of-shift message, a check-in about every 3 hours (every 4 hours on shifts longer than 12 hours, none between 11 pm and 7 am, none in the last 90 minutes) and a wrap-up about 30 minutes before the end, usually 3 to 6 messages per shift, plus short replies to what the FTO texts back.
Cost: Pro EMS does not charge for these texts. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
To stop: reply STOP at any time to stop all Pro Trax texts. You will receive one message confirming it, then no more. Reply START to turn them back on. Reply DONE to end only the current shift's texts. You can also remove your number in Pro Trax.
For help: reply HELP, or contact the Pro EMS Field Training program at ldefranco@proems.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes
Pro EMS may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes to the text messaging program will be announced to participating FTOs.
