How opt-in works

Pro Trax shift texts · Last updated October 27, 2026

Pro Trax shift texts go only to field training officers (FTOs) employed by Pro EMS Solutions, Inc. ("Pro EMS") who ask for them. Opt-in happens inside Pro Trax, which requires a staff sign-in, so the form is reproduced below.

Step 1: the FTO gives their number and consent

Signed in to Pro Trax, the FTO clicks Account at the top of any page and enters their own mobile number under Your account and ticks the consent box. The box starts unticked, and the number cannot be saved without it. Pro Trax records the date and time of consent. An administrator cannot opt anyone in on their behalf.

Step 2: the FTO chooses which shifts to text

Texts are never sent just because a number is saved. When the FTO starts an observation report for a shift, they choose whether to receive that shift's texts and enter the shift's start time and length.

Step 3: the first message confirms the program

Pro Trax: shift with J. Smith (Phase 3), 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Before the first call: 1. What does J. Smith think they need to work on today? 2. What did the two of you agree to focus on? I'll check in about every 3 hours with one question at a time, and send a wrap-up near the end. Reply any time. DONE stops these texts, STOP opts out. Keep patient details out.

Stopping and help

Reply STOP to stop all texts, START to resume, DONE to end one shift's texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. See the terms and conditions and the privacy policy.
